I seem to be a shit blogger.

I would like to say that I have better things to do than blog, but watching Kitchen Nightmares and gazing longingly at Gordon Ramsey's amazing hair is not so productive in the scheme of things. Although my cats love to lie on me while I am doing this.

I have one adorable cat, Aziraphale, who has his own blog about loafing, and I am currently fostering an absolutely squirrely and insane cat I call Lady Cat.

Digital member of band is in China cowering from the recent disasters, so creative process is at a halt.

Not for long, however, as I have recently discovered the lovely ipad applications for making music, many of which are free (always delightful for a starving artist).

I am also going to start the dread Master Cleanse, so stay tuned for a homebody Star Goddess who is whining about being really hungry and weak.

That is all for now, Earthlings.

Peace and love,

Up and onward!

Our last show at Shibuya Star Lounge was amazing; I made my own nutty outfit and had Watanabe-san in Harajuku turn my hair out, then stuck a giant bow hat with a veil in it, as one does.

Upon seeing the pictures I am still not happy with my legs; 3 times a week for two months with a personal trainer and still they are a bit...cottage cheese-esque? Damn the gravity on Earth.

Went to F Bar a few days ago and saw some models. I know comparisons are petty, but good gods. Next to those little sylphs I look like a potato. Though my beautiful stylist Misha Janette was spotted on the Fashion Channel viewscreen. Such an awesome, talented person.

Good thing I had on huge glasses with giant spikes protruding out of the lenses. I couldn't see most of the time (both friends were wearing white so I sort of just pointed myself in their direction and hoped for the best), so that was a comfort.

Things are going well for the band, is what I'm trying to get at, comments on my legs aside. We've ended the rather ridiculous relationship we had with our 'management', which is best for all concerned, and the talented and fabulous Inter Idoru is earning her status as resident Guardian Angel by securing us gigs and press. Bless her.

Up, up, and away.

Happy intergalactic holidays.

During the holidays I've been sequestered in Los Angeles, then NYC, then Los Angeles again.

Los Angeles was quite relaxing, and NYC was freezing but yielded a dazzling trip to the New Year's Eve opening of La Traviata at the Met. What a gathering of beautiful clothing, champagne, and an amazing performance.

This will now be about the third time this year that I have missed a flight due to the strange way they like to represent the time on an itinerary. So, I return to Tokyo two days later than expected.

I miss my cat, but a few good songs came out of the extra time to myself.

Rave on, rave on.

Back in the game, blogging-wise

Right, right, so I blinked and a million years went by. That's just what happens when you are a busy Star Goddess.

My band is working on getting off our proverbial asses and re-recording some tracks, as well as creating new ones.

We have new management, which will hopefully help things along.

My cat is bringing fish heads to bed, I have a new Galliano dress, the Christmas sparkle set from YSL, and things are looking up.

Keep looking up,

Rainy day...

It's a rainy day here in Tokyo today; I thought we'd seen the last of them, but after an uncomfortable nights' sleep due to the recent rise in temperature I'm actually a bit glad to feel the cool air.

As long as it isn't pouring I think I'm content.

Listening to Queen and planning my week; the band will be congregating this week to make our songs sound more professional, and then again to practice some new songs.

I need to sing with my head tilted down; my chin appears fat in pictures when I don't.

Hnn...

For some reason, my neck hurts. Hopefully this is a passing phase. Also my hip hurts because I tried to steam my shorts while wearing them. Not a good idea; damned Earth gadgets.

Pain...

First show at Heaven's Door.

Aptly named, I suppose.

The sound system was utterly fantastic; I could actually hear myself as opposed to the usual cacaphony that results from the speakers in livehouses reserved for rock without a digital bass/background.

I was happy to see that the turnout was sizeable, until the band before us went up to play. Using well-placed random ass nonsensical noise, they managed to clear out more than half of the patrons.

I wish I knew their name so I could shake my fist at them.

Other than that little hiccup, it was an amazing show; one of our best.

I can't wait to play there again next month.

Back in Tokyo

Back in Tokyo, finally. I brought the rest of my stuff from LA with me; finally, next time I go back I can only bring a carry-on.

I'm absolutely through with having gigantic bruises on my knees because of hefting large suitcases. You hear me? Through.

Why hasn't someone invented teleportation yet?

Something to ponder.
